How to get to it: The access to the beach is very easy, whether by car, on foot or by bicycle.

Length: 6.300 km.

Facilities: Lifeguard during the summer, parking areas, showers, wheelchair accessible walkway, renting sailing-boats and catamarans, buoys area and bar zones.

Sports: Windsurfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, kayaking and beach volleyball among others.

Description: Virgin beach with fine sand forming shallow dunes.

Nomenclature: the beach is divided into different areas, the names from north to south are:

  • El Riuet beach
  • Cortal de la Devesa beach
  • Cortal de la Vila beach
  • Cal Cristià beach
  • Can Sopa beach
  • Can Nera beach
  • Can Martinet beach
  • La Gola beach
  • There are two kitesurfing areas:

    Cortal de la Devesa beach: area managed by the Càmping La Ballena Alegre 2.
    Can Martinet beach: area managed by Magicwave Beach Club.

    In the eastern part of the beach there is an area, which is part of the Aiguamolls Natural Park, with restricted road access. This area includes Can Martinet and La Gola beaches.
